Tasks
- Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
- Work with honey bees
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Apiary and honey harvesting experience
- Detect bee diseases
- Extract honey manually
- Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax
- Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes.
- Treat bees with antibiotics
