Job summary

Skyline Living is seeking a reliable maintenance and cleaning professional to join our on-site team. Based at our apartment communities, you will perform routine cleaning, maintain common areas, and assist with basic repairs while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

You will coordinate with contractors, show units to prospective tenants, and support parking, landscaping, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance of residential properties.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Advertise vacancy.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances.
• Perform safety and security checks.
• Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
