Health Match BC is recruiting a full-time Anesthesiologist for Chilliwack General Hospital, a 169-bed, University of BC affiliated community hospital. The successful candidate will join a department of 6 FTE and share on-call duties among colleagues.

Eligible for full licensure with CPSBC; FRCPC eligibility is considered. The role supports diverse surgical services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT (including pediatric ENT), Endoscopy, Ophthalmology

Role and Facility Information

Chilliwack General Hospital is recruiting a full-time Anesthesiologist. The successful applicant will be joining a department of 6 FTE’s. The on-call responsibilities will be shared equally among the members. Anesthetic responsibilities include: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT (including pediatric ENT), Endoscopy, Ophthalmology and Dental surgeries.

Eligible candidates should be eligible for full licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

Chilliwack General Hospital is a 169 bed, University of BC affiliated community hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, psychiatry, and a regional eye center, as well as 24/7 emergency services with 62,000 visits annually.
