A healthcare provider in Canada is seeking a detailed-oriented Anesthesia Assistant to join the surgical team at Penticton Regional Hospital. The role includes preparing anesthesia equipment, assisting anesthesiologists, and providing patient care. We are seeking a detailed-oriented, team-focused Anesthesia Assistant (AA) with expertise in anesthesia procedures and patient care to join the Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) surgical team.
At PRH you’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and innovative environment. The Anesthesia Assistant holds a vital role supporting Anesthesiologists by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting with anesthesia induction, patient monitoring and airway management during all phases of anesthesia, and performing clinical and technical duties such as invasive procedures, medication administration, and peri-operative patient care. You’ll work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced technologies and contribute to quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and staff education—all while providing critical support in a dynamic surgical setting to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Days of work are Monday to Friday where schedule is 06:30 to 14:30 and/or 10:00 to 16:00.
This position may be eligible for relocation allowance.

The hospital's surgical facilities include five operating rooms, three minor procedure rooms, two endoscopy rooms, a cystoscopy room, and a specialized room for PICC line and urodynamic procedures.
