Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Android developer to join the Terminal platform in Toronto. You’ll design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin, and create cross-device experiences for in-person payments.

Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to bring new features to mobile users, setting best practices across Stripe's Android teams. Experience with Kotlin/Java required; optional Swift/Go/Python preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Android development.
• Experience with at least one of Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, Go or Python.
• Ability to design, build and maintain Android apps and SDKs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android apps and SDKs in Kotlin
• Develop Android payment applications for a variety of devices and form factors
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and stakeholders to bring features to mobile users
• Set best practices for Android development across Stripe Terminal and mobile apps
