As an Analytics Engineer at RideCo, you’ll play a key role in driving this change, helping to build the data foundation that powers our innovative solutions. As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll build clear, impactful dashboards and well-structured data models that support day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Build Effective Data Models: Develop clean, reliable, and reusable data models optimized for analytics, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting layers.
  • Create Power BI Dashboards and Reports: Design and publish dashboards and reports that drive decision-making across internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with internal users to gather reporting needs and translate them into insightful, actionable visualizations.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Quality: Validate data and perform regular checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability.
  • Optimize for Performance: Tune datasets and reports for speed and efficiency, applying best practices in Power BI development.
  • Support Data Governance: Contribute to maintaining documentation and consistency in definitions, calculations, and usage across reports.
Your Toolbox / What You’ll Master
  • Business Intelligence & Visualization: Power BI (datasets, reports, and dashboards)
  • Data Warehousing & Modeling: Redshift, DBT, PostgreSQL
  • Programming & Transformation: SQL (data transformations and query optimization), Python
  • Development Practices: Agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git)
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or a related role, with a focus on data modeling and visualization.
  • Proficient in Power BI: experience building reports, data models, and writing DAX expressions
  • Solid SQL skills for querying and transforming data
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $85K - $120K + performance-based bonus + stock options
