Qualifications

Operations Program Engineer

Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada

Under the Engine Center Logistics/Operations Manager, the Engine Programs Operations Analyst will be responsible for the operational side of the PW1000 engines. He will work with the plant operational groups to optimize the production plan and will also be responsible for creating recovery plans when necessary. The analyst leads regular meetings with the various organizations/customers to communicate delivery plan progress and the actions in place if there are any discrepancies. The position is based at our location from Monday to Friday and is exclusively on‑site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

In this key role you will be responsible for planning and managing engine program sequences, tracking and communicating engine progress, identifying and escalating risks that could impact delivery schedules. You will serve as a central point of coordination across teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication, shared visibility, and alignment on priorities.

Beyond core responsibilities, you’ll also contribute to a variety of operational tasks, such as:

  • Establish or improve processes in place to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop strategies with PWA to support the production plan.
  • Coordinate operational activities across teams to meet the engine schedule.
  • Communicate production plan to internal and external customers.
  • Establish recovery strategies when required.
  • Manage quality activities to support the production line.
  • Establish a strategic overview of the engine center capacity in relation to the production plan.
  • Coordinate the introduction of engineering changes.
  • Coordinate return engines and development engines.
What do you need to be successful?
