Senior Accounting Analyst – Quantum Management Services Ltd.

Pay Information

• Base pay range: CA$110,000.00/yr – CA$130,000.00/yr
• Additional benefits are provided by Quantum Management Services Ltd. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform month-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecasts.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation.
• Assist with intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations as needed.
• Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing historical data, insights, and trend analysis.
• Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (FP&A, operations, and tax) to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with system implementations or enhancements, including ERP system upgrades or process automation initiatives.
• Implement and analyze various performance indicators and take the necessary measures with the managers concerned.
• Participate in other projects as necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Advance proficiency with data management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial analysis or FP&A in addition to accounting.
• Exposure to audit support, multi‑currency and multi‑entity environment.
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
