AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to turn project data into actionable insights. You will partner with project teams, stakeholders and tech specialists to design BI solutions using Power BI, SQL and data modelling.

You will translate business needs, develop reports and dashboards, ensure data quality, support testing and deployment, and collaborate across IT and business domains. English and French communication is valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Practical experience developing business intelligence, reporting or data analytics solutions.
• Experience using Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query and DAX.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, security and access-management practices.
• Familiarity with ETL or data integration processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate in both French and English when supporting stakeholders in both languages.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical or analytical solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• The ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• An interest in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Job Description

Overview

Join the Business Systems Team and help turn complex project data into clear, useful insights. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will work with project teams, business stakeholders and technology specialists to develop and improve business intelligence solutions for the Major Projects Sector.

You do not need to have experience with every technology listed below. We are looking for someone with a solid BI foundation, strong analytical skills and an interest in learning and growing with the team.

Your role

• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical BI solutions.

• Design data models, reports and dashboards that transform raw data into meaningful information.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data transformation processes and reporting solutions.

• Contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Power BI solutions.

• Support the quality, integrity and reliability of data used for reporting and analysis.

• Participate in solution testing and deployment, from development through production.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers and business owners.

About you
