Job summary

HOOPP is seeking an Analyst, Sustainable Investing to advance a new SI strategy. You will analyze sustainability themes, support climate risk assessments, and build tools that integrate ESG factors into portfolio decision-making.

You will contribute to stewardship activities and identify opportunities in decarbonization across asset classes. The role requires a university degree and at least two years in institutional or sustainable investing, with familiarity in AI tools and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Sustainability and investment data must be synthesized into actionable insights.
• Experience with climate scenario analysis and risk metrics is preferred.
• Financial modeling and sensitivity analysis are required.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools to enhance research and workflow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and quantitative analysis on sustainability themes across the portfolio.
• Support climate scenario analysis, stress-testing, and portfolio analytics.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations for integrating sustainability factors into decisions.
• Gather information to support stewardship activities including engagement and proxy voting.

This role will report to the Managing Director, Head of Sustainable Investing. In this role, you will contribute to strengthening the resilience of the investment portfolio through strong delivery of the three SI pillars: Sustainable Insights, Sustainable Opportunities, and a Sustainable Portfolio.
