Overview

Job Title: Analyst / Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management, Infrastructure and Private Equity
Location: Montreal, Canada
Organization: Public Sector Pension Investment Board
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support for portfolio management, including performance analysis, risk covenants, and exposure analysis.
  • Support portfolio reporting, including the production of the Quarterly Portfolio Monitoring package and other management reports.
  • Manage data activities, including data collection/validation and liaising with the iLevel Managed Data Services team.
  • Assist in maintaining financial models for portfolio construction and value-added initiatives.
  • Participate in projects to generate portfolio insights and support asset class mandates.
  • Act as a back-up to other Senior Analysts.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of related working experience in finance and/or financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with alternative asset class concepts such as Private Equity and Infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is an asset.
  • CFA, CAIA, or other professional designation or enrollment in the program is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PowerBI and iLevel are assets.
  • Bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
