ANALYST, PROCUREMENT GOVERNANCE AND SYSTEMS

Reporting to the Manager of Governance and Analytics, as the Analyst, Procurement Processes and Systems, you will be the primary subject matter expert (SME) for our key procurement technologies, including our Source-to-Contract (S2C) platform and Workday ERP. Your primary objective is to optimize and automate our procurement operations by managing system configurations, leading continuous improvement projects, and ensuring data integrity.

Working closely with departments across the business, you will translate their requirements into effective system solutions, provide critical support, and develop clear process documentation. This role also plays a vital part in our Credit Card compliance operations, governance framework, third‑party risk management and compliance for financial reporting and policy adherence.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) and technical owner for our Source-to-Contract (S2C) solution, responsible for the entire platform lifecycle, from managing configurations, upgrades, and data integrity to leading the end‑to‑end deployment of new projects and functionalities. Focus on driving continuous improvement, optimizing system functionality, and ensuring successful user adoption through effective support and knowledge transfer.
  • Serve as the global subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Procurement and Supplier modules. Your primary objective will be to drive operational excellence by continuously optimizing our supply chain business processes and system configurations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Transform and automate processes by optimizing our current systems, Google Suite, AI, Data Studio, and other tools.
  • Perform supplier due diligence reviews and assist the Third Party Risk Management leads with the cycle and process improvement.
  • Manage the procurement contract reporting requirements for the IFRS and Commitment process with Finance and the Procurement Group.
  • Oversee compliance with the credit card program and policies by conducting routine audits of cardholder activity and preparing detailed reports to identify trends, address non‑compliance, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Prepare reports and analysis to provide visibility to procurement activities and use the data to propose solutions, if necessary.
  • Ensure information integrity by establishing and performing activities to monitor data conformity and compliance.
  • Provide second‑level support to internal and external stakeholders, analyzing and resolving issues related to procurement and supplier processes.
  • Maintain and communicate business processes in English and French to ensure users have current instructions to perform the required business processes. Ensure proper change management is performed when changing or implementing new business processes.
  • Work closely with departments to understand their business requirements and ensure they are aligned with the procurement strategy and policy.
  • Actively participate in the deployment of projects, including knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to strengthening the self‑service approach, empowering stakeholders and suppliers in the purchasing process.
  • Perform other related tasks, similar to the main characteristic tasks mentioned in this description.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or DEC in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in a Procurement, Finance, or Systems support environment.
  • Bilingualism: French / English (spoken and written) required, in order to support North American operations.
