A leading financial services company in Montreal is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to provide support for strategic initiatives in the futures and options markets. The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience and involves conducting statistical analysis, developing presentations, and communicating results to stakeholders. You must have strong analytical skills, be fluent in both French and English, and be proficient in quantitative tools such as Excel and SQL. This position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week.

This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - based in Montreal, QC. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide quantitative support for strategic initiatives in Canada’s futures and options markets. You will perform statistical analysis on exchange data, learn the business and cater the analysis to make it relevant to the business, organize the results of the analysis visually to form a logical narrative, and explain the results to stakeholders to support recommendations on market design. You will attend calls with stakeholders and present the results of their analysis before wider groups.
