A leading Canadian retailer is seeking a Data Analyst to interpret data into business insights and recommendations. The role includes creating dashboards, conducting analyses, and supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in data visualization tools and SQL, as well as strong analytical skills. Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics & Business Insights, the analyst will be responsible for interpreting data into consumable business insights and providing recommendations to the business. They will perform advanced reporting/business analysis and upgrading/migrating reporting to new and more efficient technologies. They will be responsible for the regular running, verifying and delivery of standard reporting, as well as being the primary provider of analytical information to members of senior management. They will work with all areas of the business to provide analysis and present recommendations to assist with new initiatives, day to day business, or to solve pressing business problems.
