Job summary

Bombardier is hiring a procurement professional to own Ariba catalog operations, optimize P2P processes, and monitor performance with SAP Ariba and Power BI. The role emphasizes collaboration across stakeholders and supplier onboarding.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in procurement/data-driven supply chain, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel skills with ERP familiarity in a bilingual EN/FR environment. Hybrid flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in procurement operations, P2P, catalog management, or data-driven supply chain roles.
• Experience coordinating projects, tracking milestones, managing dependencies; PMP is an asset.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA; exposure to ERP tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel; Power BI/Tableau is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own Ariba catalog operations end-to-end: intake, enablement, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Streamline procure-to-pay workflows, clarify handoffs, and standardize processes.
• Monitor catalog performance using SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and Power BI; translate insights to stakeholders.
• Support supplier collaboration: catalog onboarding, content quality, and user training.
• Assist in defining procurement requirements for future S/4HANA deployments.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Own Ariba catalog operations end to end, including catalog intake, enablement, maintenance, issue resolution, supplier coordination, content quality, user adoption, and continuous improvement of buying channels.
• Improve procurement operations by streamlining procure-to-pay workflows, clarifying handoffs, resolving operational bottlenecks, and standardizing processes that support compliant and efficient purchasing.
• Monitor procurement operations and catalog performance using SAP, Ariba, and Power BI, including adoption, touchless transaction rates, exception trends, cycle times, and compliance indicators, and translate insights into actions for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support supplier collaboration by coordinating catalog onboarding requirements, maintaining supplier content quality, preparing user documentation, and providing training or support that improves catalog adoption and procurement transparency.
• Support S/4HANA deployment for future sites by helping define procurement requirements, validating process readiness, coordinating testing and training inputs, supporting issue resolution, and ensuring catalog and procurement operations are aligned with the global template.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in procurement operations, procure-to-pay processes, catalog management, continuous improvement, or data-driven supply chain roles. Additional years of experience preferred.
• You have experience coordinating projects, tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and following up with cross-functional stakeholders; PMP certification is an asset.
• You have change management experience, including user readiness, adoption support, impact communication, and transition planning.
• You are familiar with SAP Ariba, preferably with hands-on experience in Catalog, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Guided Buying, or supplier enablement.
• You have exposure to SAP S/4HANA or a strong interest in learning ERP tools.
• You have strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an asset.
• You can work effectively in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities, resolve issues, coordinate stakeholders, and drive actions to closure.
• You are adaptable, collaborative, and able to build strong working relationships.
