Title: Analyst, Audit Confirmations (6-Month Contract)

Purpose

The Analyst, Audit Confirmations is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of audit requests received from external auditors. They must interpret the requests to ensure all required information is present and is coming from the appropriate individuals with authorized signatures. The analyst must identify and elevate potential risks to senior management. Knowledge of the products and systems related to the information being requested is imperative due to tight deadlines that must be met frequently.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and accept requests from external auditors via email or through “Confirmation.com” and record them in an access‑type database for tracking purposes.
  • Forward requests with financial information to various business lines within GWO, follow up on these requests, and respond to auditors, internal and external clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist with the coordination of all internal and external audits within the GWO reconciliation teams.
  • Ensure that all information requested is reviewed for accuracy, follow up on any discrepancies or escalations, and return requested information to the requestor within prescribed timelines.
  • Prepare reports such as daily stats, allocations, aging reports, etc.
  • Moderate start‑of‑day daily team huddles, on a rotational basis, to discuss the day’s volumes, allocations, and any issues.
  • Follow up and provide frequent updates to business lines, clients, and auditors upon request via email and/or online calls.
  • Assemble metrics for management to track incoming and outgoing audit confirmation requests.
  • Understand departmental and client needs while collaborating with business partners to build strong relationships and encourage positive experiences.
  • Provide training, backup, and assistance for all new team members.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to understand business language and translate into technical terminology.
  • Strong office application skills – MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Clear understanding of clients’ financial information security and data protection.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in managing high volumes, escalations, and urgent queries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
Work Arrangement
  • Work in a standard office‑based environment.
  • Non‑standard hours are common, especially during peak times (November to April).
