Canadian Tire Bank is seeking an AML QA Analyst on a 14-month contract in Oakville, ON. You will perform independent QA of AML investigations, validate decisions, and support STR submissions to FINTRAC while guiding investigators on complex cases.
You will contribute to training materials, project efforts, and ongoing AML/ATF program enhancements, with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality improvements.
In this 14-month contract, reporting to Manager, Anti-Money Laundering, the Anti-Money Laundering (‘AML’) Oversight & Quality Assurance (‘QA’) Analyst will join Canadian Tire Bank's (‘CTB’) AML team and will play a key role in helping CTB to detect, prevent, and report money laundering, terrorist financing and/or sanction evasions activities. The incumbent is primarily responsible for performing independent quality assurance (QA) reviews of completed investigations, validating the appropriateness of decisions, and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies & procedures. The role also involves submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to FINTRAC, where required, and providing subject matter expertise and guidance to investigators on complex cases. In addition, the incumbent may participate in various AML/ATF projects and initiatives as part of this role, and also serves as a key feedback mechanism by identifying gaps, recommending improvements, and enhancing investigative quality and effectiveness across the AML program. Broadband Salary Range: $23/hr – $37/hr CAD.
Our typical hiring range is between $23/hr and $29/hr. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
