Job summary

A prominent educational institution in Ontario is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member for the Mechanical and Transportation Technology department. The ideal candidate will have a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer designation and experience in aircraft maintenance, along with two years of teaching experience. This role involves facilitating student learning and providing support both in and out of class. The position is contract-based for four months, starting January 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on industry experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience or equivalent in a postsecondary setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and guiding learning for students in Mechanical and Transportation Technology.
• Providing tutoring and academic advising for students.
• Evaluating student progress and assessing their work.

Skills

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Category M1 and/or M2

Hands-on industry experience in aircraft maintenance

Communication, presentation, and organizational skills
