Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Ambulatory Care department in Kingston. This temporary full-time position involves providing comprehensive care for patients across various Ambulatory Programs, including chronic disease management. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in nursing, possess current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and have at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills while working within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class.
  • Master of Science in Nursing or related discipline.
  • Experience working within an outpatient setting.
  • Experience in an acute care environment.
  • Experience with chronic disease management.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to the Manager of Ambulatory Program.
  • Manage and provide comprehensive care for a selected patient population.
  • Support quality improvements within the Ambulatory Program.
