Job description

AltaGas - Senior Analyst, LPG Supply

Reporting to the Manager, LPG Supply, this role provides strategic commercial support to the NGL/LPG Supply Team. This person will require strong interpersonal skills, analytical acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of global energy markets with a focus on LPG.

You will:

• Ensure Supply positions through geography and time are kept up to date and appropriately communicated and reported;
• Optimize physical supply positions through collaboration with internal & external stakeholders;
• Scheduling, tracking, and reporting LPG and NGL Mix nominations;
• Develop and maintain business processes and systems to ensure proper administration, including timely and accurate information to mid-office to facilitate the settlement process and accuracy of invoices;
• Track, reconcile, and report customer contracts & volumetric performance;
• Responsible for maintaining and distributing departmental KPIs;
• Maintain a strong understanding of current news and events that affect natural gas liquids, natural gas, and crude oil markets and their potential impacts on AltaGas’ business

You have:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in a related role.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with Allegro ETRM would be an asset
• Strong attention to detail, proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated individual able to contribute both individually and as a team player with multiple priorities and tasks in a face paced environment
