  • A diploma or degree from a recognized Geomatics or Surveying program.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in geomatics or land surveying.
  • Registered Licensed Alberta Land Surveyor.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, or Trimble equipment is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams to obtain, interpret, and communicate critical project information.
  • Guide and manage survey projects through municipal approvals and Alberta Land Titles processes, maintaining schedule, compliance, and client expectations
  • Lead QA/QC standards for survey plans, legal descriptions, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the collection and validation of field notes, survey evidence, and background information to support precise, accurate and impactful project deliverables
  • Lead the planning, execution, and review of topographic, right-of-way, subdivision, and construction layout surveys, ensuring professional standards are upheld.

Role accountabilities:
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams to obtain, interpret, and communicate critical project information.
  • Guide and manage survey projects through municipal approvals and Alberta Land Titles processes, maintaining schedule, compliance, and client expectations

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A diploma or degree from a recognized Geomatics or Surveying program
  • 5-10+ years of experience in the geomatics or land surveying industry
  • Registered Licensed Alberta Land Surveyor
  • A keen interest and experience in land development and construction surveys
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, or Trimble equipment is an asset;
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, proactive approach to teamwork

The salary range for this position is $84,000- $127,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
