Job summary
New West Truck Centres invites experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Technicians and registered 4th Year Apprentices to move their careers to Alberta.
Work at Calgary, Balzac, Red Deer, and Lethbridge with relocation assistance, competitive hourly wages up to 43.45 per hour, and ongoing OEM and manufacturer training in a supportive shop environment. You will join a team that values safety, quality, and career growth.
Qualifications
- Ontario certification or equivalent recognized in Alberta.
- Red Seal or Alberta journeyperson status preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy duty trucks and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, aftertreatment, brakes, steering, suspension and air systems.
- Complete CVIP inspections and related repairs when certified.
- Test vehicles to meet safety and OEM specifications.
- Coordinate with Parts Technicians to obtain required components.
- Record labour time, diagnostics, and repairs accurately.
