Job summary

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) invites applications for a Specialist, Airport Bussing. You will deploy and operate GSE to support live off-gate flights, assist passengers with mobility issues, and perform routine inspections to keep buses ready for service.

You’ll work in a unionized Band 5 role with a wage of $41.38 per hour, supporting safety and passenger experience at Toronto Pearson. A DA AVOP and provincial license are required or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• DA class AVOP or obtain within 30 days of appointment.
• CZ Provincial Driver’s License with medical.
• Ability to obtain Defib and CPR certifications.
• Ability to obtain and retain Transport Canada Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide bussing service for all hardstand.
• Deploy and operate GSE (Airstairs, Medilifts, AVI Ramps) for live off gate flights.
• Assist travelling public with mobility issues.
• Complete all required training for GTAA operated buses and equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintain cleanliness of buses and equipment.
• Greet and welcome passengers and provide directions and comfort during travel.
• Conduct walkabout inspections and pick up FOD and litter along routes and bus bays.
• Act as first level response to incidents onboard buses and coordinate with Airport Operations Control.
