L3Harris Technologies is hiring an Aircraft Structures Technician (AME M) in Cold Lake, AB, to support the CF-18 program. The role covers structural, paint, and special process tasks, inspections, and documentation to ensure airworthiness and mission readiness.

Successful candidates will meet Transport Canada AME M requirements, maintain a safe work environment, and collaborate across teams. Compensation ranges up to CAD 87,000 annually with a day shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) recognized Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Basic Training Program with an “M” (Mechanical) rating, in accordance with the applicable Career Framework.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural, paint, and special process tasks per orders and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on CF 18 aircraft structures; report findings to Supervisor.
• Prepare aircraft for flight operations or customer acceptance, excluding mechanical, electrical, avionics, and electronic systems.
• Accurately document non-conformities, inspection results, and maintenance actions through work orders and reports.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, accountability, and discipline across maintenance activities.
• Perform daily inspections of AMSE for serviceability and compliance.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow tooling control procedures for accountability and traceability.
• Assist with preparation of required technical and administrative reports.
• Identify material and supply needs and communicate with the Section Supply Coordinator.
• Collaborate with and assist other technicians and crew members as required.
