Qualifications

What are your contributions to the team?

We have an immediate opening in Bombardier, Aircraft Maintenance Data Analysis department for a Reliability and Data Analyst in Montreal. In this role, you will:

  • Monitor the reliability and direct maintenance cost of the Bombardier in‑service aircraft fleet using data collected from various sources including Bombardier ERP system, aircraft operators and maintenance tracking software such as CAMP.
  • Perform in depth analysis on aircraft, systems and components to identify reliability and direct maintenance cost issues.
  • Utilize Weibull and other statistical techniques in calculating and forecasting reliability of aircraft systems and components.
  • Identify recommendations and/or corrective actions in collaboration with other departments including Engineering and evaluate their potential impact on aircraft reliability and direct maintenance cost.
  • Support aircraft reliability and maintenance cost improvement initiatives and present progress reports regularly to management.
  • Develop aircraft maintenance cost guarantees to support sales of aircraft and services.
  • Produce regular reliability and direct maintenance cost reports on the Bombardier in‑service aircraft fleet, specific aircraft operator, system or component.
  • Assist in gathering and resolve quality issues with aircraft reliability and maintenance cost data in accordance with Bombardier standards.
  • Continuously improve the accuracy and automation of Bombardier’s aircraft reliability and direct maintenance cost model, database and reporting system.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have 3 years of experience with aircraft material and labor maintenance cost.
  • You hold a university degree with a focus on Reliability Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have strong analytical and problems solving abilities and experience using statistical methods such as Weibull in the aerospace industry preferably.
  • You have superior computer skills and advanced knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Project. Knowledge of Machine learning, VisualBA, SAP, Oracle and BI tools such as PowerBI is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, and French is a plus.
