Job description

Built upon nearly 90 years of innovation and growth, MFC Training is Canada's largest private flight school. An industry leader, MFC Training operates teaching facilities in both Fredericton and Moncton, New Brunswick. In training the world's newest flight crews, it is essential to ensure the highest level of safety and quality in maintaining the College's fleet of aircraft.

Operations

• MFC Training currently maintains a fleet of Diamond DA20-C1, Cessna 172s, Piper Seminoles and King Air C90s in a flight training environment.
• Offers a great learning environment where you will touch on almost every aspect of Aircraft Maintenance.

Shifts

5-4-5 schedule, 11.5 hours a day, with no overnight shifts, allowing for 2 weekends off every month and every weekend off is a long weekend.

• Moncton, NB
• Fredericton, NB
• London, ON

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out and coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components including heavy maintenance;
• Report on issues affecting the service ability of aircraft;
• Ensure aircrafts are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations;
• Co-ordinate parts requirements and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions;
• Administration and direction of safety practices and procedures;
• Complete work sheets for work accomplished;
• Report unserviceable maintenance equipment; and
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Transport Canada Approved Course Completed, or ICs equivalent.
• Experience on light piston aircraft an asset;
• Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills;
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Strong troubleshooting skills; and
• Capable of successfully obtaining security clearances including.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
