Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Supervisor – Full‑time Position
YOUR TASKS
- Lead, direct and motivate an assigned team of up to 12 AME’s.
- Communicate thoroughly with customers MOC, schedule and conduct customer maintenance tasks on their specific policies and procedures.
- Communicate and hand over to opposite supervisor to maintain operation consistency.
- Keep and maintain all employee shift schedule and daily operation workorders in Bi2.
- Work closely with the PRM and QA Manager to ensure all training standards are being met and maintained for compliance with CAR’s.
- Ensure paperwork and logbook entries are complete and accurate.
- Keep a clean and organized working environment.
- Promote current policies and procedures as defined in the company MPM and QCP documents.
- Revise existing procedures and generate new processes to enhance safety, knowledge and efficiencies.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings.
- Actively participate in the Wright International SMS, including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the company safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Must have a valid Transport Canada AME M2 license and minimum of three endorsements (B737NG/MAX, B777, B787 – A320 CEO/NEO, A330 CEO/NEO, A350; preferred).
- Must hold a valid RAIC and AVOP for YYZ.
- Previous AME Lead/Supervisor experience required – proven ability to lead a team of AMEs.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Bi2).
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
