Job description
Overview

Wilderness Air Ltd. is seeking a Transport Canada licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1 for our maintenance facility in Nestor Falls, Ontario. This is a full-time year-round position with benefits maintaining Piston & Turbine engine float planes.

Then this may be the perfect position for you if you:

  • have extensive experience maintaining Piston & Turbine engine float planes specifically DHC-2, DHC-3, Cessna 185, Beech 18 and Piper
  • a minimum of 5 years of signing aircraft back into service after inspections & maintenance
  • prefer rural living in a small community
Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance on company aircraft consistent with standards of airworthiness and the requirements of the company Maintenance Control Manual
  • Safely carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance in a team environment
  • Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues in accordance with approved procedures and manuals.
  • The ability to work independently or as a team
Hours

Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm
