Purpose Of Position

To maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition and carry out maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Crew Chief or a licensed engineer, carry out inspection(s), dismantle and assemble aircraft systems for repair and/or overhaul of aircraft systems and its components on Company aircraft. This will include learning and understanding troubleshooting aircraft defects and carry out corrective action as required.
  • Carry out maintenance duties on Company aircraft.
  • Report on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft.
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company requirements and Transport Canada regulations.
  • Perform duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, the safety of co‑workers and customers.
Key Qualifications
  • All credentials listed below must be obtained and maintained as a condition of employment.
    • Graduate of an accredited Transport Canada–approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) program.
    • Transport Canada accreditation.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
    • Valid Canadian‑issued driver’s license with no restrictions or conditions.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
  • Line aircraft maintenance experience is considered an asset.
  • Legal working authority in Canada is required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written are required.
