Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician based in Calgary, AB. This role supports line and base maintenance with opportunities in troubleshooting and major component changes for M1/M2 aircraft.

You will ensure safety, compliance, and timely paperwork delivery, while contributing to a team that values service excellence. The ideal candidate holds a TC AME license (M1 or M2), RAIC/AVOP or the ability to obtain, and is willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME license - M1 and/or M2.
  • RAIC / AVOP required or ability to obtain.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.

JOIN OUR TEAM

Pacific Coastal Airlines (PCA) is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician! This position is based out of Calgary, AB.

The Maintenance Department at PCA fosters a team environment. The broad scope of maintenance that PCA carry out provide team members with a complete experience with line maintenance, heavy maintenance, troubleshooting and major component changes in both M1 and M2 aircrafts. Technical Requirements:
  • Possess a valid Transport Canada AME license - category M1 and/or M2
  • Obtain and maintain the Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and the Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP)
  • Adhere to the highest level of safety standards by following and executing procedures
  • Utilize knowledge to identify and prioritize operational needs
  • Ensure punctuality of proper paperwork submissions (all certifications and re-certifications recorded prior to releasing aircraft into service)
  • Stay current on Company Maintenance Control Manuals and other industry related manuals/materials
  • Experience working on Saab 340 and B1900 an asset
Other Qualifications:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holiday on shift rotations
  • Willing to travel as required to service all aircrafts in our fleet
  • Lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods at a time
  • Able to work in various weather conditions and elevated noise levels
