A regional airline in Canada is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Avionics to maintain and inspect aircraft systems. You will be responsible for adhering to maintenance procedures, ensuring safety compliance, and attending to aircraft repairs in various locations. Candidates must possess a valid AME–E license and demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reporting directly to the Avionics Manager, and taking direction from the on‑shift Base Engineer and Crew Chief, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) maintains, services, inspects, tests, and undertakes fault diagnosis of airframe, engine (including propellers and rotors) and electrical systems, components, and accessories on aircraft. The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) will also provide support to the maintenance department when needed.
Shift work is required and may include mornings/afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
