Job summary

Ornge in Toronto, Ontario, is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our air maintenance team at the Toronto base. You will perform complete aircraft maintenance, airframe inspections, repairs and modifications, power plant removal and installations, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

We require a current Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license, and prefer experience with AW139 or PC12.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license.
• Experience AW139 or PC12 considered an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and e-mail.
• Valid Canadian passport or ability to work in Canada and ability to travel to the U.S.A.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.

• Employment Status: Full-time; Permanent

• Compensation: January 2026 Rate: $75,022.79-$92,889.33 as per Collective Bargaining Agreement (OPEIU) Once ACA certified, to receive a $1793.47 / Monthly ACA premium applied as applicable up to the annual amount of $20,000.00*
• Location: Toronto To note: As this is not a touring position, candidates must live or be willing to relocate within close proximity to the base location.

Hours of Work

• Rotating day shift pattern of 4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on and 4 days off
• May be required to work various shifts and overtime, including days, weekends, statutory holidays, and on-call in a 24/7 environment
