Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP in Winnipeg is seeking a Ramp Agent to handle sorting, loading and unloading of baggage, freight and equipment for Company aircraft, with a focus on meeting service level agreements and on-time performance.

You will work with the Ramp Supervisor and Aircraft Load Coordinator, perform safe handling and operations, and maintain organized airside areas while delivering courteous customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Must qualify for Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit.
• Must be able to obtain transportation security clearances.
• Previous ramp/aviation experience is an asset.
• Forklift license or training is an asset.
• Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload baggage, freight and equipment.
• Tow and marshal aircraft, drive and fuel equipment, de-ice aircraft, service lavatories.
• Perform physically demanding tasks using safe methods.
• Ensure on-time performance policies are met.
• Maintain customer service standards and assist customers.
• Communicate with Ramp Team to meet deadlines safely.
• Assist Flight Crew with off-loads at destinations.
• Complete general warehouse duties and housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
