Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive AI Operations (AIOps) Engineer to elevate the reliability and efficiency of AI systems across Kimberley operations. You will implement AI-driven monitoring, automation, and incident analysis to keep services running smoothly.

The role requires a strong background in IT operations, SRE, and scripting, with a focus on applying AI/ML concepts to automate tasks and improve system resilience. Join a collaborative team and shape our AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related field.
3+ years in IT operations, SRE, or systems admin with a focus on automation.
Experience with monitoring/logging platforms and data analysis.
Understanding of AI/ML concepts and application in IT ops.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
Strong analytical and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage AIOps platforms to monitor IT infra and app performance.
Develop automation solutions for operational tasks, incident detection, and RCA using AI/ML.
Monitor system health, identify bottlenecks, and address issues proactively.
Collaborate with IT ops, development, and data science teams to integrate AIOps.
Optimize system performance and resource utilization via intelligent automation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of ops processes and tooling.
