Movati Athletic is seeking a Performance Coach to deliver customized Personal Training and help members achieve their fitness goals. You will report to the Personal Training Manager and provide outstanding service, conduct sessions, and continually motivate clients to reach their full potential.

The role requires a background in health and fitness (Kinesiology or PE), PT certification, and CPR. You will maintain program knowledge, stay updated on nutrition/fitness strategies, and have

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education related to health and fitness is required.
• 1+ years related Personal Training experience is required.
• 1+ years of sales experience is an asset.
• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification is required.
• Additional health and nutrition certifications are strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification must be maintained through employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Personal Training service to meet clients' needs.

• Track client progress through regular program reviews and assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Movati programs and services.
• Stay current on Personal Training, nutrition, fitness strategies, and techniques.

Role

Our Performance Coach will report directly to the Personal Training Manager and is responsible for continuously improving the Performance Coach service offering. You will also:

• Provide exceptional Performance Coach service to meet the diverse needs of new and existing clients, using strong interpersonal skills and engagement
• Conduct Personal Training sessions and offer suggestions, encouragement and feedback throughout the session
• Track client progress through regular review of programming and consistent movement assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and promote Movati programs, products and services to club members
• Stays current on Personal Training, nutrition, fitness strategies and techniques
• Maintain and upgrade certifications to provide highest level of service to clients

Hourly wage range: $32.50 - $63.00/hour + performance-based commission eligibility.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

• 1+ years related Personal Training experience is required
• 1+ years of sales experience an asset
• Successful completion of a nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
• Successful completion of additional health and nutrition certification programs are strongly preferred
• Current CPR is required and must be maintained through employment
