A leading quantum computing company in Toronto is seeking an AI Specialist to integrate advanced AI technologies into R&D processes. The successful candidate will develop automated systems and collaborate with researchers to tackle complex challenges. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, along with 4+ years of experience in ML or research engineering. The role offers a salary range of 120,000 - 170,000 CAD, along with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ML/Research Engineer experience developing models and/or AI tools.
• 2+ years of experience in Agentic Systems, Reinforcement Learning, or large-scale LLM training.
• Strong Software Engineering Skills.

Responsibilities

• Build automated processes and feedback loops for research tasks.
• Develop Reinforcement Learning environments for training models.
