Job summary

RBC's Group Risk Management (GRM) – Market and Counterparty Credit Risk (MCCR) Policy team seeks an intern to advance policy development and management through AI/ML prototyping and analytical exploration.

You will prototype with LLMs and MCP, translate ambiguous business questions into technical solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders through clear storytelling.

This 4-month Winter 2027 student placement requires you to be located in Ontario and returning to school after April 2027.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI applications.
Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-directed learner with curiosity about AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team to translate business problems into analytical approaches.
Prototype AI technologies including LLMs, generative AI, and MCP integrations.
Conduct deep-diving analyses to uncover patterns and insights.
