Job summary

Electronic Arts Ltd is seeking a Master’s student for a 16-week, paid AI Platform internship in Canada (Vancouver area) starting Summer 2026. You will help deliver centralized AI resources, build cloud-based ML infrastructure and work with data scientists, ML engineers, and game developers to deploy models in production.

Eligible applicants are Masters students enrolled in accredited programs for summer 2027, with full-time eligibility to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in CS/EE with focus on AI/ML systems or platform development.
• Proficient in PyTorch.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and building scalable cloud-based ML solutions.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience deploying ML models in production for real-time applications.
• Experience with data lakehouse solutions (Snowflake, Trino, Redshift, Spark).
• Experience with Gen AI technologies (diffusion models, LLM).

Responsibilities

• Develop key AI infrastructure components to support end-to-end machine learning lifecycle operations.
• Establish scalable, secure cloud-based platforms for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation and deployment in real-time applications.
• Design and implement automated customer-facing processes and workflows that leverage AI platform technologies.
• Collaborate with producers, data scientists, ML engineers, and game developers to integrate ML solutions into live services and ensure deployment performance.
• Design and implement cloud solutions using AWS, GCP, or Azure for scalable ML workloads with high availability.
• Manage and operate tools and platforms such as Databricks, AWS and GCP.
• Optimize platform and deployed models for performance, security, scalability, and cost in real-time environments.
