Placements24 is seeking an AI Platform Engineer focused on scalability and infrastructure for an expanding AI company in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will design and maintain scalable cloud infra for AI/ML workloads and develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy models and automate infrastructure.

You will optimize performance, ensure security and cost-effectiveness, and collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers while staying current with cloud technologies and best practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure for AI/ML.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Python or Bash scripting.
• Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows.
• Monitoring and logging tools familiarity.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration.

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding AI company, is looking for a skilled AI Platform Engineer focused on Scalability and Infrastructure to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role is critical for building and maintaining the robust, scalable infrastructure that underpins our client's advanced AI solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and efficiency of our AI platforms, enabling seamless development and deployment for their data science and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, cloud computing, and a solid understanding of AI/ML workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Ensure the security, stability, and cost-effectiveness of the AI platform.

Requirements
