Job summary

Accenture in Canada is seeking an AI Native Development Lead who designs, builds, and runs agentic AI agents to automate enterprise workflows across client environments. You will embed with clients as technologist and trusted advisor, prototype use cases, and deploy robust, secure agentic capabilities using Kubernetes, Docker, and multi-provider AI platforms.

This role requires strong collaboration, working with English-speaking stakeholders, and delivering with ambiguity while shaping scalable

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud-native development (APIs, microservices, containerization)
• 1 year designing agentic solutions (agents, orchestration, context design, RAG, workflows) in production
• 3+ years experience with AI platforms — OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, plus open-source models
• 5+ years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent; familiarity with evaluation tooling, logging, monitoring, and agent observability
• 5+ years deploying to production — CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), monitoring, and debugging
• 5+ years experience with client communication and collaboration, including leading technical workshops under ambiguity
• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
• English language proficiency required for interaction with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-ready AI agents encompassing retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and lifecycle observability.
• AI Platform Integration: Develop abstraction layers across AI providers to enable seamless integration and enablement.
• Cloud-Native Development: Leverage containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and observability to deliver scalable AI-native systems.
• Domain-Specific Workflows: Tailor and deploy agentic applications across verticals — e.g., finance, healthcare, retail — addressing domain-specific processes via intelligent automation.
• Client Engagement: Conduct design workshops, POCs, and code-with sessions to shape data-driven agent workflows with stakeholders, fostering trust and adoption.
• Measure & Improve: Define and use key metrics, test harnesses, and evaluation plans to measure agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
• Knowledge Sharing: Craft reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices to influence internal assets and client roadmaps
