Job summary

A leading technology company is looking for a full-time Data Scientist to support knowledge management modernization projects. You will utilize AI/ML techniques for semantic enrichment and content migration, ensuring compliance with federal standards. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree and has strong skills in Python and semantic search techniques. This role involves collaboration in a hybrid work environment located in Canada, Ontario, Ottawa.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Computational Linguistics.
  • Fluency in Python and use of major ML libraries.
  • Work experience in semantic search and related AI techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Apply AI/ML/NLP techniques for content enrichment.
  • Design knowledge graphs for KM frameworks.
  • Develop models for document classification.

Skills

Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Computational Linguistics
Proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers
Experience with semantic search, topic modeling, entity recognition, and contradiction detection
Familiarity with RDF, SPARQL, and ontology design for knowledge graph development
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of DITA XML, XSLT, and Document-as-Code principles
Understanding of responsible AI practices including bias mitigation and explainability
