Lever, Inc. is seeking AI Linguistic Evaluators to assess an AI application's Gujarati performance for a short collaboration. This remote freelance role in Canada offers flexible hours, about 10-15 hours total (roughly 5 hours per day) with a rate of 16 USD per hour.

Start date is immediate and equipment access to a personal device is required. You will interact with an AI assistant in Gujarati, translate prompts from English, and evaluate the quality and cultural relevance of AI responses.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Interacting with an AI assistant in your target language.
• Translating provided prompts from English into your target language and using them to interact with the AI application.
• Evaluating the quality of AI-generated responses according to project guidelines.
• Assessing localization quality, including linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
• Providing structured evaluations and feedback following the project instructions and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Native-level fluency in Gujarati
• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of the target language
• Ability to accurately translate prompts from English into the target language
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in language-related work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
• Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments
• Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
