Job summary

Cerebras Systems seeks a Technical Lead Manager, Infrastructure Hardware to drive end-to-end execution for CS-3 AI clusters. You will lead cross-functional teams across compute, server platform, and network architects to deliver NPIs, platform refreshes, and deployment-ready solutions.

You will own requirements, trade-offs, vendor engagements, qualification, and rollout strategies, while ensuring operational readiness and risk management across production environments.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS, ECE, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technical leadership, systems engineering, or technical program leadership for server, network, or infrastructure platforms.
• Experience leading complex server/datacenter network programs across OEM/ODMs, switch vendors, component suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture and networking fundamentals (CPU/NUMA, PCIe, NIC, storage I/O; leaf-spine fabrics).
• Familiarity with Linux server fleet management (provisioning, firmware/BIOS, drivers).
• Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions and guide cross-functional teams to closure.
• Strong multi-team execution, planning, risk management, and executive communication.
• Experience with AI/ML, HPC, or performance-sensitive distributed infrastructure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical execution for server systems and network equipment in Cerebras clusters, including NPIs and major configuration changes.
• Drive requirements gathering and technical trade-off decisions, converting inputs into executable plans with milestones and readiness gates.
• Represent Cluster Architecture in executive reviews, OKR cycles, and leadership or customer forums as needed.
• Build and manage integrated execution plans across vendors and internal teams, tracking dependencies and risks.
• Lead OEM/ODM, switch-vendor, and component-vendor engagements, including RFI/RFP activities and evaluations.
• Partner with Compute, Server Platform, and Network Architects to translate direction into platform decisions and rollout strategies.
• Lead NPI execution, qualification, and release readiness, including lab validation and go/no-go decisions.
• Step into execution gaps to drive issues to closure and keep programs moving.
• Own risk and change management into production, including versioning and rollout sequencing.
• Ensure operational readiness with deployment and datacenter coordination with rack and facility owners.
