Job summary

YuJa Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and scale AI infrastructure and models within a core engineering team. You will work with product, design, and engineering to deliver AI-powered features for regulated sectors and educational institutions.

The role emphasizes deploying models in production, optimizing performance, and staying current with the latest in ML research. Collaboration and scalable data pipelines are central to this position.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of AI/ML engineering or applied data science experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, OpenCV).
  • Experience building, training, and deploying models in production.
  • Strong understanding of ML fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with LangChain and vector databases is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to integrate AI models into customer-facing applications.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze data, and iterate models for performance improvement.
  • Optimize model performance and scalability (e.g., quantization, distillation, edge deployment).
  • Stay current with the latest research and apply relevant findings to real-world problems.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for data collection, preprocessing, training, and evaluation.
  • Contribute to overall system design and participate in code reviews.

About the Role

About You
