Job summary

Electronic Arts in Vancouver seeks a Quality Designer to join the Research & Engineering team, testing AI-enabled game experiences and content tools. You will apply your testing skills and AI tooling to deliver risk-based coverage for a rapidly evolving product.

This is a temporary full-time role ending in June 2027, reporting to the Quality Verification Development Director. Hybrid work model in Canada with benefits including vacation, sick time, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software testing experience, including at least 1 year in video games.
• Experience testing at the speed of AI-enabled development.
• Experience using AI tooling to automate and accelerate testing processes.
• Experience implementing risk-based testing techniques and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in the product, technology, and market opportunity.
• Plan and execute manual functional testing including build verification tests, deliverable verification, and regression testing.
• Utilise AI tools to apply risk-based test coverage.
• Implement opportunities to improve quality across the development process.
