Job summary

Kumaran Systems seeks a QA Automation Senior / Lead with deep expertise in test automation, quality engineering, and AI-powered development tools, particularly GitHub Copilot. This role will lead the adoption of AI-assisted QA practices across digital banking platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant testing solutions within a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

8+ years in QA, with 3+ years in a QA Automation Lead or SME role.
Experience with automation tools and AI-assisted testing in a regulated environment.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test frameworks for web, API, mobile, and data platforms.
Define and own the QA automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
Ensure high test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Champion the use of GitHub Copilot for accelerating test automation development.
Establish governance for responsible AI usage in QA within a banking environment.
Train and mentor QA and development teams on Copilot for testing.
