Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an AI Data Developer Intern on the Advanced Compliance Products team to design and scale data pipelines, models, and platform integrations that power analytics and compliance workflows.

You will work with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and platform teams to ingest telemetry, engineer features for scoring and classification, and ensure data quality and observability across pipelines. The Canada Internship program runs 16 weeks with paid internships and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time undergrad with graduation 2027 or later
• Major in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field
• Proficient in Python and SQL, ML libraries such as pandas and Scikit‑learn
• Understanding ETL/ELT, data validation, schema design, dataset versioning
• Familiar with ML lifecycle, model evaluation, and experimentation
• Experience with Git and cloud/distributed processing (AWS/Azure/Spark)
• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants to write, debug, or refactor code
• Comfortable solving ambiguous, outcome-based problems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for large-scale telemetry data
• Engineer features for scoring and classification models
• Build and maintain data models, schemas, and versioned datasets
• Evaluate model outputs, monitor drift and reliability, implement alerts
• Prototype platform extensions and integrations with stakeholders
• Document data contracts and architecture decisions for maintainability
• Present findings and recommendations to engineers and stakeholders
