About the Job

We’re looking for an AI Automation Specialist who is energized by designing and deploying advanced automations and custom AI solutions and excited to help clients unlock the full potential of their AI Employees through seamless integrations and technical expertise. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact

As an AI Automation Specialist, you'll work with clients, junior specialists, and internal fulfillment and technical teams to:

  • Lead client calls to uncover complex needs, train on custom capabilities, and guide onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
  • Design, build, and deploy custom integrations between platforms, leveraging tools like Zapier and APIs to streamline client workflows.
  • Implement and optimize AI Employee performance and functionality, maintain technical documentation, and support automation troubleshooting and process improvements.
What You Bring to the Table

You are a technical problem-solver with a passion for automation and AI. You thrive in a client-facing role where your skills in API integration, workflow development, and cross-functional collaboration drive real business outcomes. You bring a mix of hands‑on technical expertise and strong communication skills that allow you to train clients, mentor peers, and make an impact through automation.

Must-haves
  • 2+ years of experience in AI automation, workflow development, or a related field
  • Proven experience designing and implementing automated workflows and API integrations
  • Experience using tools like Zapier, and working knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of business processes and ability to identify automation opportunities
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage full project lifecycle from client discovery to implementation and review
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and SaaS platforms
  • Experience training AI chatbots or virtual assistants, including configuring custom prompts and communication styles
Nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in digital marketing for local businesses
  • Content creation and social media engagement experience
  • Familiarity with listing management tools (Google, Bing, Yelp, etc.)
  • Proficiency in embedding forms and widgets into CMS platforms
  • Ability to analyze AI performance data and provide actionable insights to clients
  • Mentorship experience or the ability to guide junior specialists
