Position Overview

AI Automation Lead will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, database management, and automation for learning. This role involves developing and implementing AI techniques to create learning templates, customize and train generative pre-trained transformers (GPTs) for scalable content development, and enhance team functionalities through automation.
This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build learning templates that streamline training processes and improve efficiency
  • Customize and train GPT models to generate high-quality scalable content, ensuring alignment with company standards and requirements
  • Utilize AI to automate repetitive tasks and processes, increasing overall team efficiency and output
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including learning experience design, service line/design, and content creation to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and apply innovative techniques to improve existing processes and develop new solutions
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI-driven automation on team functions and business goals
  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical guidelines and comply with relevant regulations and company policies
  • Build and maintain a learning taxonomy database to improve team operations and production
  • Mentor and coach team members in the adoption of AI methodologies to improve productivity overall
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, HCI, Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, automation, or related roles.
  • Proven experience customizing and fine-tuning GPT or other large language models for enterprise use
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and workflow optimization
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI models
  • Experience with taxonomy work and JavaScript for Airtable scripting
  • Familiarity with API integrations and workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, Airtable etc.)
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work
  • Ability to mentor and upskill team members in AI-driven processes

  • Build effective relationships with more senior practitioners and peers, and build a network of external peers
  • Work independently, with close guidance given at critical points
  • May begin to act as a mentor or resource for colleagues with less experience

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $80,300 and $117,810. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
