Job summary

Infosys is hiring for an AI Full Stack Hands-on Architect who will act as both a developer and architect in complex engineering projects. The role requires polyglot expertise across technologies, strong Python skills, and experience with generative AI models.

The candidate should be able to lead end-to-end AI lifecycle, collaborate across data science, software, and product teams, and work in a fast-paced, agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three years of progressive experience in the specialty.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidates will be: CAD 112,000 to CAD 156,800. Applicants must possess the following qualifications to be eligible:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications, such as text generation, image creation, and code synthesis (depending on the specific focus of the company).
• Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for specific tasks and domains, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Manage the entire AI development lifecycle, from data pre-processing and model training to evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define project requirements, ensure technical feasibility, and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in generative AI research and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI development practices, focusing on bias mitigation, fairness, and explainability.
• Experience in Open-Source frameworks and tools.
• Ability to write good quality and highly performant code.
• Evaluate and review performance aspects of new and existing code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure that quality is being maintained.
• Perform POCs for any new technologies that we may leverage.
• Experience in working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
